Server Update

Signed up with a new server – a VPS, so not only will there not be the stupid server downtimes that Bluehost subjected all you poor readers to from time to time, but also with more than enough bandwidth so I won’t get bumped again.  The site will hopefully be back up within the next few days when all files are moved over.

 

Thanks for your patience, everyone!  Let us all celebrate this good news by shaking our fists at the sky and shouting, “Darn you, Bluehost!” on the count of three.  Ready?  1 . . . 2 . . . 3!

Technical Issues

Surviving the World is currently working out technical issues after Bluehost unceremoniously deactivated the account on Thursday morning, October 14, without warning.  In the meantime, new comics are still being posted at http://twitpic.com/photos/danteshepherd each morning and will be posted here as soon as I can.  Hopefully this downtime will not last longer than a week while a new server is found that can meet the site’s bandwidth needs.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me: danteshepherd (at) gmail (dot) com.  If you get bored without STW, you can peruse my other nonsense on Facebook or Twitter.  Thank you for your patience.
